Re: White Rabbit CAD

Settings Disable / Show EndPoint seems resolve the problem!
So disable them from the beginning!
That avoid bad Snapping! 8-)

Re: White Rabbit CAD

Pilou, Endpoints Showing or not makes no difference within the software, regarding snapping! Only possibly regarding the user's visibility or choices because of what the user sees, but it has no influence on the snapping logic.
Only snapping to background can be enabled and disabled, if you have another layer in the background.

Re: White Rabbit CAD

Ahahaha!
Yeah, I insisted that we have this button, because later on this will be important. Thus we made this compromise, where it is hidden by default, but the user can turn it visible via the menu. ... I like this one, too! :D

Re: White Rabbit CAD

AH, CTRL usually turns on Select. Shift will guarantee that you won't deselect anything, but only continue to select.
BUT in this video, I think the recorder messed up a bit, thinking a key was still down. So... sorry about that and just disregard it!

Re: White Rabbit CAD

OK now seems i mastered the Snapping of Rotation segment but only with this method!
Button Snap enabled!
So
-Draw a line
- Select it (with Click before on an empty space)
- Ctrl + D ( like Clone )
- Call Rotate
- Right Click near not obligatory on the extremity for have the Red Disc
- Always Right Mouse Button pressed move on the segment line then release Right Button
- And move to the desired angle wished
(with SHIFT for have step(s) 45° or Enter Angle in the numeric Box or Left Button "re Pressed" for Snap on an existing distant extremity of something! :ugeek:

Ask me a terrific training... But now that is perfect! :ob
All other thing don't make perfect jonction! :geek: (for me)

As we have a straight rule, does it possible to have an Angle rule ?
(not for me because now i can easily draw any Angle! (even over an existing one...so know some angles yet existing...on moving only one segment! :ugeek:

I am now the...

Re: White Rabbit CAD

hehe Thats a clever use of a villain I can't recall. The sketch feels like it was done by Dick Giordano or Carmine Infantino. He seems to be a visual representation that angles are a pain :D Very cool
