vapOr v1.3

I took a 3 day Verve vacation to relax and write a little game...
vapOr v1.3
It's a little pop type game like there are a million of, but my wife and I kept playing them since new years for some reason and I felt inspired to give it a quick try. :geek: :D

It's not really well balanced yet or thought through, but you can already play it... I might come back to it and add more stuff as well as improve the logic of it some more. :ugeek:

Have fun! ;)

changes v1.3:
- design prepared for major additions
- level logic slightly adjusted for higher levels

changes v1.2:
- display number of vaporized balls

changes v1.1:
- level logic optimized
- removed testing feature (rmb)
Here to help! :D

Re: vapOr v1.0

WOOPS  ...I forgot to turn of [RMB], which was just for testing! :? :geek:

Anyway, I've also updated the level logic a little to make it more "spectacular", hahaha... it's fun! :D
v1.1 is up!

PS: Not bad, Pilou! In that v1.0 version a score above 2000 is good! :ob
In v1.1 I have actually managed to hit 9830 !!! 8-)

Nice mini-game Taron! :ob
Would like to have a little more complexity/interactivity, like making atom connections in some cases?

Re: vapOr v1.1

Yeah, I have a number of fun ideas for that! One I just thought of and I have to try it, but it's a bit more work: color-radiators... those balls are stationary and will color the balls around them in the color of the cluster that has created it. It happens over time so you can wait until more balls are changed or vaporized earlier. :ugeek: :)
Soooo many possibilities. Classic bombs, row explosions, explode all pieces of some color...yeah, all that stuff should go in there!
I may keep having some more development fun with this one! :D

Re: vapOr v1.1

Seems promising, and yes that can be visually and sound immersive. :ob
And/or you can add little more interaction by allowing user to rotate ball or balls (by clicking it) while it is in that reaction state. Once rotated it can make better or worst bonds with others around. Let the user/gamer be a chemist! c:!

Re: vapOr v1.2

HA! You totally get me, zen! :D :ob
I kept thinking about more chemical aspects about it... I just have to watch out that it remains playable and simple. It's easy to get carried away until one needs actual instructions, hahaha... :o ..."nnoooo, noo freaking manual!!!" :PP
Anyway, I add a sweet number display for vaporized balls... :geek:

Re: vapOr v1.2

I just changed it to displaying the actual score your cluster created. It makes it more obvious how attractive larger vapors are! 8-)
