There are many tutorials, videos and articals about HOW TO on youtube... I am pretty sure you can find them yourself but maybe it can help to others to public some cool of them here.
I found one interesting optical illusion which explanation can help.

But I think videos of pudjakjuzto's creation process are almost same interesting as this;)

http://www.ctrlpaint.com is very cool and interesting - especially for beginners. But there is a drawback - this guy Matt Kohr is focussed with photoshop. But there are also globally tricks (usefull for other painting apps too)
