paint modes

Hello,

Is there a hotkey to switch between paint modes ? I need to switch a lot between accumulative and additive.

Thank you !

Re: paint modes

Yes: [m]
It toggles through all 3 modes, actually, so be careful:
1. build up (standard mode, where paint material keeps building up as you paint)... symbol is >
2. additive mode... symbol is +
3. absolute mode (sets the material amount on the canvas to the amount you have set in "build up")... symbol is =

As you click [m] it will rotate through those modes, so you may have to get a feeling for where you are. All this will change, once I add custom hotkeys and all that... could become part of the whole custom brush engine, too, where you can design complete custom brush behaviors and then hook such brushes to hotkeys of your choice, for example.

Re: paint modes

Thank you, it will help me a lot.

Your software is a blessing, by the way. Greatest thing that happened to digital paint since MS Paint. (I don't say Photoshop because I don't think it's good for painting at all.)

I so can't wait to resume coding on it. I still have great plans for what's to come! :hyper:
