Re: last version ...s

I just changed the HQ to a more primitive solution, which still causes the same contrast reduction, but should go a lot faster. I'm not sure, if you had tried the very latest or the one from earlier today... (I'm really bad about those sub sub versions...should label them, too)
I could see, if I try boosting the result carefully... with the current version that's a bit more complicated, I'd imagine, but I'll give it a shot! ;)

Thanks for testing right away, that's awesome! :D

Re: last version ...s

HQ seems to mess up "undo"related things? :)
Suppose for just exporting that doesn't matter.. hmm

Re: last version ...s

I've just hooked up a slight sharpening to the high quality mode to counteract the softness a bit!

Re: last version ...s

Hey, sorry for the delay ... i wanted to install a GPU monitor to give more precised feedback than "loud fan"
... had to update all the things for that

i for now went with the "GPU Shark" tool, did the tests with default settings, highest resolution (4x shift+F2), Fluidity set to 100% and the canvas liquifyed (d).

099s Original - steady 60% GPU

099s "experimental version with High Quality mode" HQ ON - 99% GPU :? (loud noises!!!)

099s "changed the HQ to a more primitive solution" HQ OFF - 54% GPU  :?: (Did you change something to the non-HQ mode?)

099s "changed the HQ to a more primitive solution" HQ ON - steady 81% GPU (me likey :P )

099s "I've just hooked up a slight sharpening" HQ OFF - 59% GPU (back again? or was test 3 flawed? )

099s "I've just hooked up a slight sharpening" HQ ON - 91% GPU (pretty heavy but also pretty, pretty :D )

You are on an exciting path there :P ... anything particular that you would like to be tested?

Anyway, next to each other the first AA really was rather muddy/dull.
The sharpened one is amazing though, congratulations!
The highlights seem to get an extra kick before the blur which, to my eye, hardly alters the image, only makes it nicer :D
It really is heavy though, if you could get it down to the 81% usage of test 4, id settle for that

Yes would be nice ;) , also your explorations seem to introduce some bugs ... maybe split it into a stable version for newcomers nad a WIP for beta testing?

Re: last version ...s

Kinda funny, because all of this is "ALPHA", not even Beta for that matter, but I totally agree, too!
Just uploaded another version, too... ...I'll start after this one, once bugs are confirmed: gone :)

"Just uploaded another version"
Sweeeeet! ... What happend? :P

Aww, of cause
... i just ment that right now interested but uninvolved people that come from youtube may catch a version with broken undo or something. ;)
i thought an "Alpha- experimental beta" for us interested to beat in sync with the development :P
Which really is exciting to folow today, dude ... thank you for keeping us in the loop like that :D
