Oh, I don't have import for pngs or any other file format hooked up. You can only load projects!
Funny how the file requester shows only .vrv as an option, yet, Verve seem to make miracles seem plausible?!?
(Guess, I should get rid of "All Files" again. I had it up, because I first had a different extension for Verve projects, haha...DOH!)
But, yes, PNG importer will come soon. But 9k x 3k? That I wouldn't even dare to try! Even with fluidity at 0%, it's ambitious, because all the buffers are on the card's memory. If my calculation is correct, you'd need over 4 Gb on the card to even look at that stuff, if at all possible?!
Verve is a purely hardware driven painter, which makes the fluids possible. It has the obvious disadvantage of having to rely on the graphics card's powers. One of these days, those cards will hook together the CPU into a shared memory of much higher potential, but until then.... eh... I think I wouldn't go beyond 3k x 3k.
