Re: Inspirations (for artists to paint!)

Hahaha, sorry, Pilou, but this has to be Scott's worst picture, yet! :? ....he's a fantastic concept artist, though, super successful for all the right reasons. Obviously this is a "WORK IN PROGRESS", but it really looks like a bad hobby 3d render, woops...

Very cool artworks (Sketches, Paintings and Compositions) you can find also on Chris Legaspi's website.

one of his nice sketches - looks like my Mum (because I have a photo with the same Hairstyle and some more ), like on photo from the 1970's :o - love that so much and also the other stunning artworks.

There are also some nice tutorials, maybe also good not only for photoshop - because its about colors & values.

Btw. so sad, he was leaving the USA/LA some days ago - because he is sick of the situation about the politic-situation in the USA (Trump/Hillary) - hope he will have good future in Thailand, there is a videostatement in his facebook-account :( ....

Re: Inspirations (for artists to paint!)

Eh, what's wrong with my real time design? Anyway, the charm of those knobs comes from the global illumination and soft shadows, rather expensive computation that wouldn't make you happy in real time. And I wouldn't be happy with the resulting sterility of them, as they could never be really dynamic, would eat up megabytes of memory and serve no other purpose then to offset the nagging parties from one taste to the other. Loads of steam for nothin', you know.
I'm totally happy to eventually write a set of different formulas for the design elements, possibly allowing even deeper customization, but it's no where near the top of my list, of course.

Anyway, thanks, Knacki! ;)
