Re: Suggestions

Hi dear Taron
I have a question?
It is possible to use a wacom eraser as a normal pen
I have set in my tablet setting "click" on eraser
Unfortunately this does not work

Re: Suggestions

Tried it here:
Assign STRG to eraser and it will work ;)

Edit btw. PureRef color picking works fine.
PureRef is freeware reference app with plenty of functions, similar to kuadro.
Nice stuff. Still like kuadro more.

Re: Suggestions

Ahahaha, that's a neat trick, Knacki, thanks! :ob
I wanted to be extra-smart and recognized the eraser as eraser, not expecting anyone to want it different. I could later on make this part of the big customization options! :ugeek:

Re: Suggestions

Oh sorry :D
That was a misunderstanding.
You want the eraser work as a normal pen!?......I couldn't get that working either.
Sorry for confusion, and sure. Eraser works as an eraser even without assigning some extra function.
Stupid me.

Re: Suggestions

And I could've just tested it and told you that this wouldn't work...  :PP
...anyhow, most relevant is that I will regard this request as part of future customization feature! ;)

Re: Suggestions

I think it would be great and healthy for tablet surface

I am curious about your opinion :bounce:

Re: Suggestions

Haha, I would not be concerned about the tablet surface. At least, before that I would be concerned about the pen!
But it does feel interesting for a moment to paint with the eraser. Before I "fixed" it, you could paint with it, but it's really just a brief curiosity.
That's just my opinion, of course. c:!

Re: Suggestions

Eraser has less pressure sensitivity steps.
Big surface makes it harder to hit precisely. A little bit like first pens for touch surfaces.
Well, no, I prefer other side to draw.

Intuos pro tends to scratch quite easily in comparison to my old Intuos 2.
Changing the tip more often avoid this a little bit.
Even my Cintiq is finally scratched after some serious usage.

If you don't want to scratch, what about some protection foil?
Something like that(just as inspiration)
