@Taron

Just tried it and already love you swatches. Very smart programming indeed, with those swatch sets or lists how you called it! :ob
Loved how you avoided drawing active / focused / selected swatch; that's pretty unnecessary as wheel updates when swatch is changed (whether on swatch color pick or cycling with keystroke 'n').
Great addition for Verve!
Thanks and keep up the good work! :P

Hvala lijepa, Zen! :D (should, of course, say: "fala lipa"!)
Yes, I thought about highlighting the swatch, but thought exactly the same. It might actually even distract. c:!

Hvala i tebi majstore (meštre) Taron! :D

btw. I found this cycling with [N] a bit tricky. When I hold [N] the colors changes like at least dozen times per second. The color wheel went berserk. :D
Hard to track that change even I play Dota
I would expect that on key-down or key-up event it just change to next color at current swatch set (from left to right and/or from up to down depending on row, column or table swatch set availability).

Re: Feed Back 0.99.v 13

Yeah, hahahah, [n] is still legacy, actually inspired or even requested by Pilou. Eventually you will have the same kind of control as for image sequences, play direction, pressure based and random, also with speed control and choice of constant running as it does now or only while painting.
The colorwheel flips out, because it actually sets the color properly. That's actually no small feat, by the way. But nobody knows that, of course! :)
Also, [shift]+[n] should still work to get back the color you've used before holding [n].

Well, it sure was weird. If it happens again, try to remember what you've done, please! :geek:

Re: Feed Back 0.99.v 13

Maybe I am pretty sure of this!
I have a latop with an Intuos Wacom with Graphic Pen : maybe Mouse + Graphic pen + sensitive Surface (of the latop) have made interferences!
Pen was not on its support when I reuse the mouse!

PS No possibilitty to put / show also directly the color inside the round Swatches used for avoid to click on each for see its color?
Like that you see all the "gradient of colors" of the swatch's list in a wink! :ob
And make a Sonia Delaunay or Kandinsky painting at each call of the Swatch! c:!

Re: Feed Back 0.99.v 13

@Taron

That cosmic ray bug can be reproduced without color wheel (window?).
I believe it's connected how you handle window events (focus in and focus out).
You can reproduce it like:
1. start verve and some other app (i.e. firefox)
2. go from firefox to verve
3. paint something in verve with pen
4. still holding your pen (variate with touching a surface of a tablet or not) goto firefox (alt+tab)
5. move pen a bit in firefox
6. go back to verve with alt+tab
7. you got that comsic ray

It's quite annoying, as I need to use undo each time I check something out of verve.
I think you should invalidate pen events at focus out / focus in (i.e. forgot that old current pos/state of a pen).
Maybe it can be reproduced with mouse too, but didn't tryied it (maybe if you hold LMB all the time).

Re: Feed Back 0.99.v 13

AH YES, I'm familiar with it and didn't even think about checking focus!
Brilliant call, zen! I'll have a look and see, if I can solve that with bmax. I'm having windows hooks, so that should be possible.

Pilou, I have gradients already prototyped, but need to implement them properly. Of course, you are taking away another surprise I'm holding, hahaha, but well.
I have two ideas on how to make them. One is to move swatches apart to reveal a gradient between them. The other is to link swatches for gradients. This stuff is challenging to program for some reason, but I might just be getting old, hmmm... :P
Anyway, swatches are far from being done! 8-)
