Re: FeedBack Verve v0.99v.16

WAHA, this is cool! 8-)
:bounce:

Anyway, the upcoming version has some really, really stunning brush#6. I'm kind of over the moon on how it acts. Further more, it made me come up with a technology that will eventually have me rework continuous brush types (7,8 and 9). I can very much feel that it's only the beginning, though! ;)

Re: FeedBack Verve v0.99v.16

Rotate the canvas about 90 degrees for painting gives insert brush strange behaviour.
If you move canvas with MMB it still behaves like not being rotated. Furthermore it's not possible to grab selection square. :D Try it. :D

If you have crop active on rotated canvas, only option is ESC! Every thing else is DANGER DANGER DANGER! ;)
Tried to reset rotation with ALT+SHIFT+STRG RMB while crop was active = Everything lost. All layers, everything painted :D
It's a repeatable bug.
Looks like those functions are not working with rotated canvas.

One more suggestion: If "i" is active for image brush selection, painting should be deactivated. If one is not hitting the corners correctly, you easily paint on your drawing by mistake.

Re: FeedBack Verve v0.99v.16

I ..uhm... I really didn't even think of someone cropping while being rotated, hehe. But JUST TODAY I was noticing that brush image selection ignores rotation, hehehe...shite.
...and so I was wondering why nobody has noticed it thus far.
The reason for why I thought about it is because I ran into the same issue with my lasso selection, but that I have already solved. The image brush thing is a bit trickier, but I'll fix it asap, too.
The crop bug, pffff....dang...yeah, I'll fix that, no problem! :?

Hahaha - well these are really things that have to happen before you even think about it.
I have really no idea why I did reset the rotation instead of pressing escape.
I think I simply missed Ponyhome, so I did it myself. :D

Holy...taron. That seriously looks fantastic with those "folds"

Re: FeedBack Verve v0.99v.16

Hello,
I'm trying to use the mask mode for the first time in V0.99v, and i have a problem.
My aim is to limit the fluids movement within a given shape (e.g. inside an empty square), but i can't get rid of the shape itself : I cannot erase the shape in the painting canvas once i have set this shape as mask with SHIFT Q. Is it possible or do i miss something ? Thanks.

Re: FeedBack Verve v0.99v.16

OH YEAH, I forgot to mention that I was too distracted to fix the mask/warp issue I somehow fabricated.
...I'll take care of that, I promise, but it might be a moment. What I'm doing right now has A LOT to do with masking, making me probably overhaul that whole portion. So any specific fix I would do right now may not be valid for long... ehm...so, please, forgive me, if warping and masking won't quite jive together for a moment. :| ...and :PP

OH, and, Pilou, that lasso stuff is pretty freaking impressive!

Re: FeedBack Verve v0.99v.16

Ok, thanks for the quick answer Taron.
Another question then, i tried to export a work with [Ctrl]+[s] to save active layer only as 16 bit PNG with alpha. I'm surprised to see that this process does not keep Verve lighting on materials. Is it me or is this new behaviour ?

Re: FeedBack Verve v0.99v.16

Does the internal surface of the lasso supports the fluid or it's fixed surface?
So we can have differential fluids ?
