Re: Brush Settings & Configurations

Aha! Looks like having fluidity set to 0 was the culprit, alongside the brush size. If I make the brush size larger, the problem goes away almost entirely. Filling the canvas with a color and then going over it also appears to reduce the issue

Re: Brush Settings & Configurations

GREAT! I was just about to make a video about it, inspired by both of you, but certainly triggered by you! :hihi:
And I will just do that, soooo.... expect a little video response to all this in like an hour or so. Let's see! :ugeek:
It's high time anyway that I do that.

Excellent that you brought it up! :ob

Re: Brush Settings & Configurations

Finally I got it... took a moment. But here's the first video for v0.99z and the first public video after like 7 years?! :uhuhuh:

I'll probably make a little sub forum for tutorial videos, assuming that I'll make a bunch of them from now on. :ugeek:

As someone who learns both from practice and also by watching others, a place for archiving tutorials/demos/speedpaints would be very nice! I'm still learning verve (and painting in general) and it's nice to be able to see how other people make art. The demo videos in the Downloads & Info section have been very helpful

Re: Brush Settings & Configurations

Ohohoho, snap, I actually made a thread for them already. Well, I'll put this one there, too, but I still think about a dedicated subforum for VERVE videos. I just have to make sure people don't start posting any other videos there... this can happen all too quickly. :geek:

Re: Brush Settings & Configurations

AH, Pilou, THANK YOU!
Things are indeed happening. But I'll spend some time making videos for v0.99z now, I think.
