Re: Brush Settings & Configurations

Here's an example... a little exaggerated with the environment and light source and subtle with the internal bounces, but well...

Re: Brush Settings & Configurations

looks nice,
here is what I was thinking about Taron

I like DRP GAMMA, but how many times we use it in a painting, 3, 4 times in total
and how many times we need to tweak the Brightness a little bit in a painting? all the time

I think a brightness knob belongs beside the other color adjust settings RGBS
the brightness slider works differentely than a knob, is just that get acostumed to quickly turn the knobs, and I really miss a brightness knob.

thanks again

Re: Brush Settings & Configurations

Agreed! The Gamma knob is an artifact from the very first days of Verve. :)
I literally never ever used it for anything "serious". So, yeah, that would make a proper replacement. I'm just rather thinking about the different new color pallet styles and modes.
My biggest trouble is that I simply never had troubles with getting the color I want, which is why I haven't boosted through any extra development before I approach the overall GUI rework. But you know that already.

Re: Brush Settings & Configurations

:o :o :o

after further test with the last version, RGB sliders work fine, but desaturation still presents the WARP JUMP
in the video a dark red turns into blue after tweaking desaturation, I tried three times in a row and get the same results.
this is a hell of a bug

PD: pud how do you do to get this forum to show youtube videos thumbnails? I tried using the youtube and url quotes, but got the same result,
thx advanced.

Re: Brush Settings & Configurations

Eduardo, check your post with edit and you'll see how the youtube thing is done! ;)
Also...in your clip you seem to be on a transparent layer, where it will pick a computed color. And I don't see you adjust saturation there with the dial?! In fact, I cannot see what you are doing there.
