Hopefully it's not so strange. ...I changed the negative value logic of glossiness/diffusion for you, so that it behaves like the old bug, but if you go negative with diffusion, it will correct itself.
Try to alter the diffusion value. If it accidentally was negative, too, you should try turning it to the positive amount.

(I should color code the dials, so that negative values show more easily, when you look at the GUI!)

Give it a try. I'm not sure, if the new routine has changed other things slightly. But it shouldn't have.

You can change the value of glossiness to positive by making it brighten
but
Let's assume that DIFFUSION is also in the negative it's going to complicate it altogether
And turning the knobs will not do the same effect as in the previous version
