Feedback v0.99v.28 - brush image crash

The answer to my problems and crashes in loading brushimages.

If canvas is smaller than brushimage, it will result in a Exeption_Access_Violation.

If you take my tattoo preset i.e.
http://www.taron.de/forum/viewtopic.php?p=18509#p18509 and load the brush images immediately, verve will crash.
Those dots brush images are very tiny, but bigger than the canvas.
If you crop canvas bigger and load brush images after, they will work fine.

Re: Feedback v0.99v.28 - brush image crash

Well - I pressed CTRL+l and a Layer FX window opened :D
Anything one can do with it already?
I couldn't figure out something.

Found it:
"Changes v0.99v.17:
- negative glossiness now is really negative glossiness! :ugeek:
- some WIP features are in there, which don't do much, yet! Lasso Masking and a Histogram, but you can't quite use them, yet.[k] will toggle lasso mode on and off. Once you drew a lasso, it will create a mask as you may know already, which you can toggle on/off with [q] or look at and modify with [ctrl]+[q] or invert with [ctrl]+[shift]+[q]."

Re: Feedback v0.99v.28 - brush image crash

Awww, hahaha, yeah, that's already in there, hehe, but it's only a preparation with an actually working histogram, but nothing else. I had added sliders to my gui gadgets then. Nice, huh!? :?
What got me stalling there was that I wanted an interactive histogram, where you could grab handles inside of it and move them around, including a kind of curve handle to skew the linear gradient from darkest to brightest rather than the ordinary linear interpolation of most level adjustments. Needless to mention that I'll also add material amount as a channel, but didn't get around to it, yet.

So, yeah, it's kind of a teaser, similar to the lasso feature, which does at least somewhat do something already.
Man, I'm so neglecting this poor baby...pfff, shameful. But you do know why, of course; the big transition to C++.
<sigh>

Nope. I will be able to keep my shaders, though, because they're openGL GLSL.

Found another bug?
If you have many brush images, so much that they are under the color wheel and the knobs placed around, operating those is disturbed by underlying brush images selection.

Re: Feedback v0.99v.28 - brush image crash

HOW very funny! I was just the other day thinking about finally making a scroll window for brush images and layers. :ob
I've been a little bit torn about it, because of my ambition to make bigger leaps, but well...wouldn't be the first time I kept evolving this version. :geek:

Re: Feedback v0.99v.28 - brush image crash

There are workarounds.
But I guess it's good to report those issues.
Even when it's for future version only.
