Vervette Fluid Sandbox v1.4
• altered brush noise contrast again a little. Above 75% is like original and under that the bottom (black) gets raised gradually.

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

Still practicing blending and figuring out how it feels. I really, really start enjoying it. Makes me want to practice painting more again. But, hey...there's still other work to be done! :geek:

WOW. Taron, that's cool, not only the picture but the blending functionality too! :ob

Uh, sorry for my next silly question. If you do not feel comfortable with that, don't worry please. I remember your old Reason song "cat strides to unknown" and there was a very atmospheric and dreamy picture of a cat striding under a lamp in the night. Can you remember that? I would like to print out that picture and hang it on the wall in my private office. You are in the painting mood again. Can you paint a bigger version of that painting (for me ), please ? :-)

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

Hahaha, thanks, Lemi, that's a wild request! I couldn't even find the picture to the song anymore... seems to have become invisible on soundclick. Where do you still see it?
I may give it a try for you. c:!

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

Yes, wild, that's the right word for it. And I know, to push an artist to paint by the request is really wild! :-)
Thank you! I will try to find the song on my external disc, extract the image and you will see...

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

Ohohoh, wow, Lemi, that's some amazing find. Actually, I totally did remember this wrong, haha, so that's awesome! :ob
I suppose, you'd want it without my GIANT SIGNATURE  .... :hihi: ...but, yeah, I should give it a go. Nice sense of immense humidity there.
I wonder what software I had used back then... no clue anymore. Possibly artrage, maybe photoshop, I just don't remember. Must've been in the early 2000s anyway.

But, yeah, Lemi, thanks a lot for even digging it up, let alone asking me to bring it back to life. I might just try!

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

Wow, I must say... it's kind of awesome to paint with Vervette. This is still nothing, but it's been rather quick already. Original res is 2560x1440.
Proportions are off in every way, but I just wanted to get the general idea of the atmosphere. It usually is a lot easier to just come up with something than to recreate it, but this is fascinating! No doubt, the original was just a super quick doodle, so it's a bit silly to spend any amount of time on it, but hey... it's for a good cause!
