Intel (hd) graphics 4400. Surface pro 2.
Works fine but a bit of a lagtime when using large brushes and fast movements.

Doesn't surprise me at all! :? ...(desperately trying to think up a "hot" joke)
But, yeah, if you have fluidity on, the graphics have to work full time, easily heating things up. I'd consider turning fluidity down to zero, if you don't need it. A few other things are happening in the old version, that I'm optimizing for the next version, which should relieve the card a little, too.

AMD 6870HD - mild OC - 1gb-- does extremely well up to about 2000 x 1500 (2.8mb) - after that it starts to lag (testing with 100% fluidity and drying off).
CPU an old Phenom2 965 quad OC'd to 4ghz. 8gb ram.

Re: Everyone, what Graphics Card are you using?

Thanks, Wasp! :ob

I've added a "recommendation" to my first post as I recently had to buy a new card and went for the Nivida Gforce GTX 970 and it's pretty awesome, handling resolutions quite comfortably above 4k, although I would leave "high quality" turned off, hehe. Even with it on, it still works, which kind of puzzled me a little. So, yeah, I can recommend this card, especially considering the modest price right now ranging from 329 Euro to 376 Euro, depending on what brand you get it from. I've got the cheapest, I think (Inno3d) and it does a great job thus far! :D

A little addon: I have not yet heard the card huffing or puffing...so...stays pretty cool from what I can tell! 8-)

Re: Everyone, what Graphics Card are you using?

I work on a new project, but I couldn't open my project file with 500MB and around 15 layers  ... is there maybe a solution in the next Version (also a better layer merging would be so great, merging also without a risk of changing the image)? Have e 970GTX / 4GB VRAM since november 2014 year :ob :ob
