I think you're doing just fine! :D

And your latest piece turned out great! Very colorful with black as a good contrast! Love it!

OMG ! How could I miss that Mister Spock of yours, Taron ?! Amazing job, and the advices about cleaning your eyes from the photo reference to keep freedom in creativity is very usefull.

Dam, there's so much things to explore in this forum... :D

By the way, I found out only because it was in the showroom header, wich I could see only because I was not logged in, for some reason. How comes that we can't see that header after login ?

Re: Taron's little gallery

UH?! I had no idea!? ...I can always see it, if you mean the "carousel" of images as Top Row!?
That's freaky then... that means you never knew how popular you are already!

I have to investigate, I guess. Or maybe from now on you'll always see it?! Let me know!

THANK YOU, of course! :D ...Spock was an exciting exercise for sure. I need to find my powers again, though, I'm really weak for some time now. The heat ain't helping much either, but I'm also really busy with project work...or should be, for that matter.

Re: Taron's little gallery

Yes, the carousel at the top (my english ... :D)

No, still can't see it after login, and I tried with Chrome, Firefox, and IE

Do you have to investigate ? If you are running out of time, no way !!!! That's really no big deal, and your creations & Verve have to be prior ! :D
Heat is terrible here too, and sleeping seems often the only option. But, at least thanks to Verve, we can start a painting, then have a nap without fear that it dries too quickly or that paint tubes get damaged. That's real luxury !

Re: Taron's little gallery

Ok, my bad ! I suddenly remembered I choose to stay on the old forum theme :o So that's why, when I'm logged out, the site shows the new default theme (CA vintage with carrousel) and when I log in, it uses my preferences and switch to Prosilver. No more mystery :D And something you won't have to investigate :D Again, sorry for not using my brain. The heat, you knows ... :D
I'll keep the vintage theme to enjoy the carousel :)

Re: Taron's little gallery

Cool, glad that is resolved... :)

Here's something I just did and I somehow enjoy it a lot. With large canvas textures some magical things can happen. I only am not quite sure whether I like it at high quality better than at low, haha...but it does look more refined at high of course. 8-)

Re: Taron's little gallery

phew. Steam bath and my headache is starting to fade. I can communicate like a human again :) I love the textures here and the wetness around the "cave:. The 2 droplets in front look cool also. Kind of like solder drippings. The 2 downward strokes above it almost looked like they are guilty of doing it. I love large canvases but you were right about thumbnail practice ... hmmm I need a Thumbs Up icon here :ob
