Re: Stavros Gallery

Trying to get that watercolour thing happening.
I find it difficult to have the paint interact with canvas in a satisfying way.
Actually having more luck re importing a painting and then giving it a giggle to bleed into paper a bit.
The textures here are all verve..just paper scaled all the way up..looks nice I think.
Looking forward to having more control over canvas interaction and dispersion.

Re: Stavros Gallery

Very elegant looking results, though!
That will be part of my next big challenge with Verve, actually, to get more natural behavior with such things like the interaction of medium and pigments. As you can imagine, I insist on fast and immediate performance, which makes it so challenging to create a proper dispersion model. But I will get to it! :geek:
Here to help! :D

Re: Stavros Gallery

this is very inspiring, I was wondering how using Verve to my pro projects and your work show me strong tracks to follow, thanks :)

Re: Stavros Gallery

Happy you find it inspiring Ka-Z !
I saw your thread and checked out your weblink
Yowsah!
Some of those conceptual pieces are stunning.
I love the raw loose feel of it and yet they feel very real.
Ive been very lazy with Verve…trying to let the fluids do most of the work
but seeing your approach might just get me actually painting !
lol
cheers

Re: Stavros Gallery

Yes, I like them too! Very good results, Stavros!

Calm ocean waves on the first painting, dreamy wood on the second one and stormy ocean on the last! Great! c:!

Can you describe the steps and settings you used for these last paintings? I am little bit curious. :)
