GBoGBo's random stuff

Hello friends,
These are my first attempts with Verve!
It is such a joy to use it that I must thank again Taron for his talent and efforts.
I did not use all the potential of this this amazing program yet (no combination of liquid inks, no thick impasto...), but it may come since I plan to insist :-)

Feel free to comment and advice!

 I am impressed GboGbo!
You have quite an eye for design form.

If the pieces that inspire you are great - wouldn't it stand to reason that you will eventually reach the level of the pieces. ;)

@Pilou merci, pourvu que ça fasse revenir le soleil en RP en ce moment
@Mike, thanks a lot, not sure to fully deserve the compliment though because - for the moment - I need to stick to photographs, or if not satisfactory enough, on 3D models. For the swimming pool for instance, I did a 3D draft on SketchUp to get the perspective corresponding to the angle that i wanted, i.e. to simulate a view from the center top of the frame with a small telelens (as opposed to the photograph which was taken in wide angle and from the edge).

Then I used the outline for painting over.

BTW Mike, beside your excellent Verving, there are outstanding 3D creations to see on your site.

regards,
GBoGBo

Thanks GBoGBo!

There's nothing wrong with over-painting models from 3D programs! :ob

I do that all the time. ;)

If fact, I wish that 3D programs like SU and Moi could export 3D with the interesting bowed (distorted) depth of field perspective that Verve uses in its grid.
