Re: Fuchsia Doodles

That's beautiful.... and considering the irony, if that's still the case, that you've painted it with the mouse! :D :?
Quite amazing!

Re: Fuchsia Doodles

yes Taron haha! I vote there should be more mice. We have birds (borhani) and cats (Fuchsia)
oddly, this style reminds me of 'where the wild things are'.

Re: Fuchsia Doodles

Eyeball was bothering me. That and a few other touchups and I end up staying up late again. Proportions aren't perfect still, but better; also I darkened the edges, didn't realize how much darker my main monitor was until I looked at it on my other one, whoops. Now I paint with the screen lighter: better color reproduction too. Which is a bit silly since I'm colorblind, but...

Re: Fuchsia Doodles

I really think it looks unbelievably good for a mouse painting and really beautiful for a painting <period>! :) Great job, Fuchsia!

Re: Fuchsia Doodles

Just sketching, so I can blame any problems on the brush and the speed. Also means I don't have to explain anything. Turned out not at all what I initially planned to make but oh well. Also the specular highlight makes a great overexposed sun/moon/something, I will have to use that trick again.

Re: Fuchsia Doodles

That's really kind of cool, I dig your sketch! The sun/moon thing I've done a bunch of times early on. It's actually quite amazing, even if you have clouds in the sky! :)
