Re: rcpongo's doodles

32 is totally convincing and beautiful. I love the feel of spontaneity and the sense of paper, water and colors. Feels like I could smell it somehow. :o :ob
I'm the one who should constantly apologize for it taking so long... so...I'm just happy to see you around again! c:!

Glad to see you here again rcpongo. And I agree with Taron about landscape32b.jpg, it is excellent. It gives the feeling to see a real watermedia painting. c:!

Re: rcpongo's doodles

:D Those are truly breathtaking!

I think I missed something, but there appears to be a nice canvas in back.
The piece has a very pleasing watercolor appeal to it.
You'll have to excuse my mental lapse, but is that simply a scan of some nice paper?

Re: rcpongo's doodles

Mike: yes, I have a paper canvas texture that I've been mixing in with my work (usually about a 15-20% overlay). It's probably a bit of a crutch, but I like the look so much I can't stop myself from adding it.

Re: rcpongo's doodles

Love it, too!
I will not give up on writing proper 16bit imports for textures as well as improving procedurals for the canvas textures. It was still all just prototypes, you know.
What you're doing is very inspiring for sure! :ob
