Re: Ovn1's 2 cents

That's GREAT! Not to meantion the feel of the paint substance, it's pretty awesome! With around 10 minutes you should consider recording a session of yours sometime! I dig your style. 8-)
I, too, think there's a special kind of magic in fashion art, if done right. I should play around with that some time again, too.
VERY inspiring! :ob

Re: Ovn1's 2 cents

Hmmm this is embarrassing
I was trying to practice some kind of speedpaint (a classic vintage beach girl)...
And the famous black dot has appeared, during painting/coloring steps, around the legs... the silly thing is that I completely forgot which workaround I should use
Of course the more I have tried to fix (changing brush, fluidity, pressure sensitivity, etc) the more I have ruined the picture :PP
Anyway at the end I am not sure this painting was a good idea, as it has been reproduced too often... maybe the black dot glitch is just a reminder of that :uhuhuh:

Re: Ovn1's 2 cents

If you're using the latest version, you can just smudge (shift) over those black areas to make them workable again. Not sure what you did to get them, though...

I will have to have another look what on earth I'm doing to let this happen. Sense it makes little to me, of course, but well...hopefully it will after my next examination!

Indeed the workaround is efficient ;)

Re: Ovn1's 2 cents

very nice drawing, and ovn1 - so so funny.

I get the black dots mostly with very very dark colors, black color ... after importing from a png or with setting the values very/too dark (ctr+l).

Re: Ovn1's 2 cents

It is possible for my case that black dot is just due to dark value encounter (from "line" layer?) or some playtime with brush mode...
Anyway it is resolved now.
I started that as pure speed paint after iconic vintage picture... and then I changed the background to match the initial wave source idea...
And of course, at the end, the speed efficiency was completely lost in time :hihi:

I will start some video capture soon on another subject, and this would be in real speed to show how slow I can be :?

Ovn1, I remember this iconic compo,
but I'm a bit confused about what time of the day is in your painting.
shouldn't be the light areas lighter in the dog fur?
