Yes, I had to double check double.. and then took the screenshot to make 100% sure. HEhe, and then I still figured I might have had too much coffee...

Ah, nice. For some reason I didn't have the first suspicion those eminent examples were all made by the same person. :D
I did it by accident. But who knows I can play with it some more. :P

Been working on this. It's fun, bit like a modern day Sandro Botticelli Venus.
Feedback is very welcome. :D
Also made me think of more color control... but didn't formulate any suggestions yet.

Re: verve exploration

Uh, that's pretty darn great! I think you could've filled the frame with the hair, especially on the left side! Looks a bit like flash photography, too, apparently it's webcam or something like it, right?
Just let your thoughts out about the color handling, doesn't matter what it sounds like, we can sort it out from there, I'm sure! ;)

Hmm, still need to fix the hair on the left... but I did think the blue sky was more prominent by keeping it there. Something about that I really like: bit of a contrast with the reflections.

Well I would think maybe over all layers connect a control that is Hue, Lightness and Saturation. Perhaps connect it to the masking mode?
(Or even a Hue control per layer, connected to the mask or not.)

Hmm, thinking of it some more.. maybe just a Hue button next to the layer bump, glossiness, diffusion et cetera buttons. :geek:

Re: verve exploration

tama, that's a nice portrait.
Hmmmm....... if I search the internet long enough I will find a corresponding picture of Norah Jones, won't I? :D
If not, the likeness is amazing though.

EDIT:
It's SHIFT + V

With ******* SHIFT+V **************you can move your pic to place it for preserving a bit more blue background.

Glad you like it!
Ah no, it's not based on a Norah Jones picture. But yes, now you pointed that out, there seem to be indeed some similarities. But I won't comment on it. :D

Thanks!

Also, the creations you posted are very inspiring to me. :D
