Re: Zeropainter - GFX

Good Job, Zero! :ob
That's an impressive accomplishment already. Imagine how much work it would be to make an entire comic book (or "graphic novel").
I do understand the story, but it's a little awkward in some respects. I get the feeling that you were thinking mostly about the paintings rather than how the story was meant to play out. Normally it's best if you either write down your story first, then do some very simple sketches, like a storyboard (placing key elements, layout and text placement) and then check how the story flows with the pictures. Once you are happy with it and it all has the right kind of pacing and connects well, then you start painting the actual images.
My other recommendation would be to pick either German or English, but don't mix it up, especially when the names have a meaning. If it would feel funny to you in German, you can be sure that it feels funny in English as well, so that's a good way to check, if everything feels right to you or not. There's nothing wrong with German by itself. In fact, it is a beautiful language. The one big trouble would only be, if it tries to be something that it isn't. That's when it might get a bit silly.
I even think it's kinda cool, if you stay confident and convicted, even if it feels a bit funny at first, but at the end it really can get very cool. "Mr.Moonface", for example, could simply be "Mondgesicht". That's a very spooky name, when you think about it. It doesn't need "Mr." or anything like that.
Also, always watch out that the grammar is correct. There's nothing more awkward than funky grammar in a comic unless it is absolutely deliberate and one can tell.
But before I continue, let me know, if you even want to get some detailed feedback from me, hehe, because I'm not entirely sure how you might take everything I might tell you, hmmm. :?
Again, though, really some impressive work you've put together there and as a whole it also shows how much you're growing as an artist in the process! c:!

Here my newest painting ;) - a bit also in Photoshop, for some edge-clean ups and color/value-correction

my first Idea was a Hoorclown in the foreground too, but better if I spend next time more into thumbnails too ...

and this here was my Ref-Picture: https://www.goodfon.com/wallpaper/malchik-muzhchina-velosiped.html

Re: Zeropainter - GFX

Very impressive, Zero! :ob
One funny thing, though- and I just can't see past this- you have the shadow of the handle bar of the tricycle (Dreirad) drop onto the chest of the boy, but the whole arm doesn't cast a shadow?! You should certainly put that in, too, unless the boy is some kind of shadowless ghost/vampire?!? ;)
Still... VERY nice job! c:!

Re: Zeropainter - GFX

well done Zero, u allways try new subjects, this one has some kind of warm pallete. Looks very peculiar to me, like plastiline or somehow a vintage sculpture. nice looking, keep it up.
