beautifull forest painting, congrats

Thank you!
For a painting after about 5 minutes I'm pleased with it. Brush Nr. 8 is great for the bark of trees.

First of all what fantastic software this is, i found it by accident and gave it a try, after a little messing with the brush settings (Wish they were a little bigger so my old eyes can see them :) ) this is what i managed to come up with. 8-)
Oh by the way it really really needs more undo's

GREAT! Welcome to the forum, Merlin!
Yes, I'll work out a different approach to undo, which will increase them, but it's a touchy subject, because fluids modify a much larger area than just the brush stroke itself, making it very memory expensive and therefore even somewhat dangerous, depending on what resolution you chose. However, and I really don't mean to justify the scarce undo, Verve should invite you to think a little more like Bob Ross, making use of "Happy Accidents" and work more freely with care but not worries, you know.

Anyway, wonderful to have you on board and share your first doodle, that's fantastic! c:!

Hey Merlin, welcome!

that is a cool start. During my short education period in drawing, probably 435.789 years ago, I was forced not to use an eraser.
"Think about what you wanna do in advance! Carefully decide the pressure you'll use until you're sure. Show how you found your war to right proportions!"

It helped me a lot to get sovereign in what I drew. It only needs some few painful days and you will recognize this soon.
After a break of 395.678 years in real drawing , I started drawing digital again on almost daily basis. Due to verve and it's magic.
Drawing in other digital program, I quickly start to become this drawing pussy again, afraid of any wrong strokes, having the undo in mind and using it quite often.
That's not the way to become better ;)

My personal experience, sure, some more undo would be cool, but it's not a must.

Thanks for the welcome, now i know why there is only one undo i fully see why there is only one, after using said undo i found that by careful use of smudge and a bit more paint here and there, its quite easy to solve the "Happy Accidents".
