Re: With verve into the light

Great, Knacki, that looks fantastic! :ob ...very graphic, somehow. A great combination out of abstract and somehow illustrative, too. Neat!

Re: With verve into the light

I agree with Pilou, great bg, very artistic, not only the shadows of the fabric you painted on the bg, but the texture and feel of the bg itself, really great!

Thank you taron, I am also very happy with him. It was pretty easy to draw. He came to me, so to say.
This time, I had to search a bit more. Those guys are super fun. Be prepared to meet them more often ;) :D

Re: With verve into the light

Thank you Lemi, thank you very much.

Today I was experimenting with canvas structure for pencil and graphite look. So I painted my own stipple canvas with brush#9 and two billion mouse clicks, always moving to avoid firework structure, always stopping carefully, to avoid lines.
It turned out, that this structure is also very good for ink. Crazy, just a few percent less in strength are ending in complete different results. I really would suggest to have this as another preset, as normal paper feels a bit more like that, and fluids really love it.

Re: With verve into the light

cool Knacki it looks like Ink dripping into water, some sort of into 3d space,
the previous ones look much like pencil, n it seems to me those were made in the default canvas, didn't they?
there are artists that vary the canvas texture many times in the same painting in order to get a different look in their strokes, both in Painter n ArtRage on youtube
I mean, they leave the canvas texture panel(or layer texture panel for that matter) open and tweak its settings all the time while painting
are you after that kind of technique? or just changing the canvas texture once?, anyway I thought it might be a good ref, congrats man.
