Re: With verve into the light

You guys are really a blast.
Being a bit in a crisis, this means a lot to me.
I really would like to recommend bwwd preset for watercolours inside verve again:

It made it pretty easy to create something appealing.

Knacki, your photo is really nice. Great shot! I like that mornings.
I hope that the crysis you mentioned is not so severe and you are able to overcome it with no big traces in your soul. If you feel we can help let know..!

Lemi - that is very kind.
Well it's more about a long break in painting.
Too long.

Tried something today.

Re: With verve into the light

Yes taron, you are correct. Inspired I was. ;)

Yesterday, I messed around with symmetry for quick character sketches.

Just for fun.

Today, I was inspired by our new forum member Delkin525 http://www.taron.de/forum/viewtopic.php?p=18286#p18286, who uses colours in such a lovely way.
A quick sketch for myself on how a cute girl character could look like.

Re: With verve into the light

Jeeez, Knacki, you're on fire! :bounce:
Some phenomenal stuff! I particularly enjoy the character sketches, actually! But it's all great!
  • Desert scene is fantastic with light and atmosphere.
  • Light tower fortress is very lyrical and fully of story, oozing out of the painting.
  • The chalk "girl" is aesthetically a little crude, though. But the chalk look is very nice!
Awesome stuff altogether, for sure! c:!
