Re: With verve into the light

@Mirrored? I don't understand :) :shrug: Did I do something special? :D

Forget on this, Knacki. :-) Not sure now, but I think that for the second time I saw it I thought that the nose is on the left side and you did a special surprise for us that you mirrored the eye. Sorry I was mistaken. At now I can see nose on the right side, wrinkles on the left side, everything is correct. It looks that sometimes my brain should relax little more.. :oops: :)

In any case, you did such an amazing job, I recognized Einstein at the first glance. It shows your mastery! Even if we consider you completed it in 25mins as you mentioned! :rock:

Thank you very much, zero ;)

@Lemi, hahahaha, now I see it as well!
Cool!
Worth to have another look on it.
And no need to apologize for an outstanding imagination, never! ;) :ob

Re: With verve into the light

When everybody on the planet is so positive, nice, friendly and creative as the people on this forum, the world will be much much better!

EDIT: I forgot to mention: wise.
EDIT2: If everybody then me too. Am I wise? :oops: Not sure.. :) Wise guy will not say he is wise, it is nonsense.. :roll:

Re: With verve into the light

looks very promising, congrats knacki,
Knacki I was wondering about this alpha0 bug...
does this bug happen only when you paint on a layer that is above another texture layer? or only happens when you paint in a single layer?
You can delete the invisible layer, as it is just the paper texture with alpha to get material for the canvas (how lovely it would be to use greyscale bump for it ;) )

this invisible layer that you say it's the paper texture, you get the paintstrokes in the layers above to interact with it, right?

thx advanced.

;) Still WIP....Really happy with this style!
What about likeness?

@Eduardo
Thank you.
About problems with alpha.
it happens on any layer which is not filled, has some alpha area.
Try it by yourself. Hard to explain. Most obvious on dark background ( (p) uses actual color as background color.)
Paint something in dark, now change color to some signal like light green or red and start to smudge. You'll see some of actual color on border to alpha.
