Re: With verve into the light
But that were around 10 or something.
I think the picture is still existing and hanging in the company
Something different:
I made a preset for future caricatures etc. (charcoal?...well, you know what I mean )
I really love this style:
You can download the file from pic above here (2000px x 3000px 76 MB)
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Ud9jM_z14SqN_qOsrIuozudRgKUtuRvs
or a layer reduced file here (72MB) :
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1eb05IUrhe3m2qLzarLn-RLHOdrYeRUJL
Layer use in last file as following:
-Top layer for white lines / I would recommand to separate colors in layers. This way you won't get in trouble with any alpha issues. Very easy to add and erase.
-second layer for hard lines.
-third layer for fill lines / as I am lazy, I like to use brush #9 with a few bristles and size (w) off for hatching multiples strokes at one time.
-fourth layer is the Paper texture with png alpha done in PS for canvas structure. Basically, you could delete this layer with SHIFT+F9. It's invisible and just in case the structure is not available, activate this layer and : [Ctrl]+[Shift]+[p] to snapshot current layer's material as canvas texture
-Lowest layer is the background paper texture from texturemate
http://www.texturemate.com/Textures/paper_Free_Texture_135
Press SHIFT+C to bring up the three used colors. The mid brown color on opacity ~70% should be the main working color.
Reference for exact this style was this brilliant picture (due to brown paper texture, it went a bit off, if you turn off background layer, colors will be a bit closer.):

Plenty of examples:

Before starting, clear the layers properly by pressing DEL several times, or create a new layer.
Change painting mode to = instead of >. No material needed. In my opinion.
I am really looking forward to see your results
I hope I'll find time to use this preset as well soon.
Have fun!
