Re: With verve into the light

A fix would be most wonderful, taron.

Today, verve took me into watercolor.
Finally I think I got a decent setting.
Pure fun!

Check it out. The only con is, that one have to live with a dark s

tructured canvas, which can be changed later. But for painting this canvas is needed to control the paint.
Sometimes you even have to press "d" to stop all the things going on. :D
Have fun:

Re: With verve into the light

A psychedelic zebra! ...sweet! 8-)
Very nice technique, Knacki! :ob c:!

OH, by the way, the canvas looks very much nicer in the next version... no more vicious dark structures way too early. :)

Re: With verve into the light

Thank you, taron. This sounds very promising.

Today, I played with the rotating canvas.
This is a ultra sweet tool!!!!
After 20 min. I stopped the rotation.
But nothing was stopping! The picture still was rotating before my eyes.
I got so "seasick" I was almost vomited into my monitor.
Took me two hours to come completely back on earth.
I guess, I won't use it again, even though there are nice possibilities.

Later, I tried verve again.
Fiddling with presets and suddenly there was a one-stroke-painting preset. I tried to safe it, but after loading it again, it was not working anymore.
Ok. I decided to do just a few strokes more than one and this is the result.
(borhani inspired :) )

Re: With verve into the light

LIKE :-)

I like the birds eye. It is very vivid. Green zebra is cool too. :-) And the fire is really great!

It looks like I missed more paintings on the forum. I have to spare more time and visit this nice forum more often!

Re: With verve into the light

Hey, this preset makes fun.
I attached this for you.
The only thing you have to do is:
Bump 0%
Glossiness -3
Maybe a brighter color to see the effect clearly at the beginning.

The effect with this black border will only work for one stroke. If you stoke on top you'll stroke with color not with black.
It's also worth to play a bit with light. Just light one part of the canvas with SHIFT+ Page down and Shift+Arrows and suddenly a one stroke thing can look like this:

Cool for japanese writing too i.e.

Or am I getting old?
It is ultra fun I have to admit.
Again with this preset. Wanted to it same style as top one, but then I played with brush 2, changed bias and reduced numbers and size of bristles and fixed orientation to stylus angle with SHIFT+a
Hell! I searched for this function for months!
Again SHIFT+a :D
Now you can easily place your feathers where you want in the direction you want, because SHIFT+a :D :D :D follows the orientation of your stylus.
But now without any jitter.
Much better stroke result for me ;)

Ooops, how to get out of that?
Let me try....birds are better than BIG BOOPS? :D

Ok. A bit primitive.
Primitive like the one left this scenery recently.

A rock study completely done in verve - no reference at all.

Cheers ;)
