Re: With verve into the light

Wow, Tartan, how could I left all these detailed comments without a reaction?
I am sorry!
Thank you so much for taking your time going through each picture and really commenting each one.
I really do appreciate it. So do I about the other comments, thank you.
Well, "good old days" seems like the my Asia-art influenced stuff still has a lot of friends?

I don't have something decent to show, but the experiments ended quite interesting and promising.
Maybe I will do more in the pastel style like the cat.
Technique is a grunge background prepared like described here : http://www.taron.de/forum/viewtopic.php?p=18691#p18691
And brush #9 bristles to 100%

Re: With verve into the light

Hey Knacki,

I am liking your grunge experiments. The first one would make a great background for a poem. I like your kitty also, especially the eye. Then you take a step up to the giraffe picture which really came out well and would look great on my wall next to the elephant clock c:! :ob Then there is your back study. At first I thought it was a tree trunk but as my eyes followed it down to the well rounded roo...s? Umm coff coff :hihi: . I realized that it actually was the Naiad's cousin the Dryad :D well done

Re: With verve into the light

Oh, wow, I totally didn't write a post to this either...how weird, because I marveled at it only minutes after you posted it. I'm so distracted, Knacki! But only with good stuff right now, that's for sure!
Fantastic almost tactile sensation there. Really beautifully done! :ob

Re: With verve into the light

Thank you guys. Metal is so much fun in verve.

Finally I've stolen some time to do some abstracts.
Most are same mask, mixed layers and played with FX.
