There are some fun ways to get wild results, similar to these, but they'll be far wilder, of course.
You could play around with 0.0 curl and fluid sharpness, especially if you use curl first with large brushes or even #8 and some fractal impulses, then switch to 0.0 curl and fluid sharpness down. You may also hit [y] to toggle finer fluid motion interpolation.
But, yeah, I still have in my mind certain ideas about allowing formulas for the painting process. There's so much fun to be had.
