Hey, sorry for the delay ... i wanted to install a GPU monitor to give more precised feedback than "loud fan"
... had to update all the things for that
i for now went with the "GPU Shark" tool, did the tests with default settings, highest resolution (4x shift+F2), Fluidity set to 100% and the canvas liquifyed (d).
099s Original - steady 60% GPU
099s "experimental version with High Quality mode" HQ ON - 99% GPU
![Confused :?](./images/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif)
(loud noises!!!)
099s "changed the HQ to a more primitive solution" HQ OFF - 54% GPU
![Question :?:](./images/smilies/icon_question.gif)
(Did you change something to the non-HQ mode?)
099s "changed the HQ to a more primitive solution" HQ ON - steady 81% GPU (me likey
![Razz :P](./images/smilies/icon_razz.gif)
)
099s "I've just hooked up a slight sharpening" HQ OFF - 59% GPU (back again? or was test 3 flawed?
![Embarrassed :oops:](./images/smilies/icon_redface.gif)
)
099s "I've just hooked up a slight sharpening" HQ ON - 91% GPU (pretty heavy but also pretty, pretty
![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)
)
You are on an exciting path there
![Razz :P](./images/smilies/icon_razz.gif)
... anything particular that you would like to be tested?
Anyway, next to each other the first AA really was rather muddy/dull.
The sharpened one is amazing though, congratulations!
The highlights seem to get an extra kick before the blur which, to my eye, hardly alters the image, only makes it nicer

It really
is heavy though, if you could get it down to the 81% usage of test 4, id settle for that
