The ocean is very vibrant.. and blue! Nice texture there too.

Here's my finished cover art for my next radio club newsletter. It goes out to 330+ recipients so I had to come up with something decent.

Ahh... but before you marvel at the intricate Verve handiwork you must know that this was "over-painted" from eight or so pre-manipulated photos.
I was curious to see if it could be done well, and it has a nice look.

Oddly enough, with ever square millimeter of layout space re-painted over (with some elements actually re-created,) this might as well have been done from scratch... or at least 90% of it. I'm guessing I could have made a similar result from an intricate hand-sketch.... so...
Over-Painting with Verve did allow me to work in lighting and shadow work to give it a richer feel.
