Works with pencil as well. With Fluid speed low, one even doesn't recognise the slow fluids. Very cool.
Would you mind if I make some advertising in Procreate Froum for this?
In fact I already did for verve Painter a while ago.

There are some fluid fun apps for ipad, have them on my very old ipad2. Multitouch and completly fluent. But optimised for ipad, an app not online, no bump, no real painting, just fluids....but with tilt support :D :D

Re: 2020 -Vervette Teaser

Yeah, as soon as I get my hands on a pen for the IPad, I'll hook up all that stuff, too. Also...there still is plenty of optimizing to be done. This is very crude! 8-)
But, YES, if Procreate has no trouble with it, AWESOME, sure, thank you, Knacki! :ob

I remark this! ;)

   well, after the brush preview is gone, it's seriously hard to understand the idea as a newbie. ....Beside those shortcut only functions......
But the philosophy around CTRL+SHIFT+ALT is brilliant and the most effective on any keyboard related software I know.

Re: 2020 -Vervette Teaser

Thank you, Knacki. ...I think, he's talking about the Vervette Fluid Sandbox, though. That the Verve UI is highly polarizing has been clear from very early on. What's quite shocking even to me is to realize that even Verve has been merely a sandbox, a training-ground for me to explore using fluid dynamics for painting and start writing experimental brushes for it. All of it, all of it has always just been a glimpse into a coder's semi-private explorations and never been a "real" software. That's also why I'm broke, HAHAHA  ...but I am about to change that! Vervette will be something real, something elegant and exciting to use. It will have a nice, customizable GUI with presets and the whole nine yards of making it pleasant to get into. Only kind of annoying thing is that ALT is a bad key on browsers, but with my new potential exploration of tablets, I'll try to find somewhat different philosophies that still keep performance in the foreground, but provide a sense of ease and orientation without needing a keyboard. Will get interesting, I believe.

And when Vervette is done... then will come the big days for Verve! 8-)

Re: 2020 -Vervette Teaser

:-) haha
UI is always a matter of subjective perspective and I understand and agree with both of you. BTW the Verve right UI side is very neat and straightforward + grainy canvas and default background colors, very natural, humble, nice. I love it! ❤❤
Some of the Verve hotkeys including CTRL, SHIFT, ALT will always be in my head (always? Alzheimer can change it :)) like DOOM 2 game key combinations IDDQD and IDKFA...

Re: 2020 -Vervette Teaser

Funny thing is, my big troubles come from my "computer-origin" in the mid 1980's. There weren't many pixels available on the screen and I would try to have as much space as possible. Nowadays to make a GUI that's large with loads of wasted space is agonizing to me. Likewise a GUI with tons of hidden things is agonizing on the other hand. So.... I end up wanting to pack as much useful access into as little a space necessary to still get to it and develop a feeling for it. At the end I really find myself mostly on hotkeys anyway, but well... things that tablet times may change.
But Lemi:

You solution of a "Big UI" easily readable even for "old eyes" and hide possible is perfect! :ob
