Color Push

Interesting idea Taron
Im curious what your intention is with this one. Not sure what the application is.
When set to 200 it could suggest color bleeding into the canvas around material..........although it appears the color will not move into empty canvas unless there is already material present which defeats that idea. Fyi..... I also noticed that blending with shift key no longer works when color push set to 0 .

Re: Color Push

Hehehe, yeah, that's the funky stuff... I just allow it all, which is why you can set it to 0, but sense it makes none. However, the more you paint with it, the more you can appreciate the differences between under- and over moving the color, so to say. Anything less than 100% is more interesting on a totally wet canvas, while anything over 100% is better for sketching more accurately, less of an effect. However, 200% can be some effective fun, too. The more you are away from 100% in either direction, the difference between color and material gets more obvious, of course. What any physical reason for this might be is up to your imagination. Lower than 100% is probably as though the paint clings to the canvas and the material medium detaches from the paint.
0% is almost pure nonsense, but one thing could make this interesting. Once you're done painting, you can push the material away from the color or modify it without modifying the colors. That may allow for some interesting effects on a single layer rather than having to use multiple layers. I remember the fish scene from a few months back that tried to exploit something like that.

Anyway, it's just another parameter I felt could come in handy or at least worthy of exploring! :D :geek:
Here to help! :D

این ابزار در حالت اسماج یا فلویدیتی کامل در اعداد 0 و 200 عملکرد فوق العاده ای دارد و من خوشحالم که اینقدر پیچیده هست که تست های اولیه من کاملا اون رو پوشش نداده.
fun and too experimental ...
بسیار عالی
