Instant Canvas Control-P

I know someone posted this exact thing a while back...
but I saw it in a post yesterday and had forgotten it myself.
but I think its critically important and want to remind people.
This canvas texture (attached images) was produced using a single ( as in one brush stroke) swipe of full canvas size brush 9 ( in this case 2500 pix) horizontal and vertical with a tiny bit of smudge after
....which just happens to look like imperfections in the canvas....loose threads and such.
Control-P converts the material build up ( or something like that) into a canvas texture.
Now use the canvas controls to adjust the strength.
Make sure high quality button is on for the best look.
I find this stunning and incredibly simple to produce AND its not even a tiling pattern...unique through and through.
Interaction with the canvas is still a bit curious but Im sure that will all be evolving.
Verve is full so of these little gems that even on their own are jaw dropping!
Cant wait to see how this little feature unfolds in the new version.
:)

Re: Instant Canvas Control-P

Yup, that was a quick test of mine before having proper 16bit import, which I STILL don't have... :PP
There are a few cute surprises ahead that came from this, but I have to see how I can work them in, because this stuff works in realtime, too, hehehe... allowing for some very interesting paint experiences, haha.

However, I also plan on adding a variety of procedurals for the canvas creation, besides tiling images, of course. Should be good fun, though! :)
Here to help! :D
