Brush colour mix possible?

Hi there,

I just wonder, is this possible with verve? It is just yellow and red and a stroke on top with blue.

To do i.e. a one stroke tree trunk already shaded. As uncle Bob Ross always told us.
I tried around with blending etc. etc. but wasn't successful. It's nothing one always want to have.
I haven't watched all your tuts taron, sorry if it's explained there.

Btw. who will program a quick keyword search for video tutorials? Please!!! Would saves more than thousands lifetimes all over the world seeing long videotuts just for ONE particular thing ;)

Re: Brush colour mix possible?

Hmmm...I don't have it like that, yet, and I'm not sure if I ever want this to happen like in artrage, because it causes more grief than benefit, BUT I will have a different bristle system eventually (soon), which could well support such events, but in a much more natural way. Plus you'll be able to dip it into several colors and paint with those... (I'm telling a bit much right now, I'm afraid)
At least that is the plan.
Right now you have to make a third stroke to blend it! ;)
OR better still, use brush 8 for some really nice tree trunk/bark effects! :D
Here to help! :D

Re: Brush colour mix possible?

Thanks, yes, you are right. Art Rage does it not too nicely.
But having a palett where I can dip my brush in, to get a two coloured stroke, that's pretty, pretty cool!

Sure meanwhile there are options like hell. You know what?
I tried Art Rage yesterday again to get this Waterpaintings done there.
I always wanted to press shift for smudge. Instead I had to change the tool....fun was short....result not a tiny little bit close to what I can do with verve ;)
Take your time and do it like you have in mind.
Sounds supercool!

He he Frenchy,

generally asked. Talking about all programs out there which one have to learn quickly. Videotuts are superuseful, but I prefer to work on an actual task or job to improve. In that case you have precise questions where you would like to find quick answers.
