Ah, got it to work now, thanks for the quick response! Gonna have fun experimenting with it c:! it's cool to have something fully reversible and WOW re-applicable? I didn't understand that you could re-apply multiple times--NICE :!:

This would have been explained here as well, just three threads below this.
There are other tips as well ;)

oh dang, I should've read that thread ages ago for sure. thanks, Knacki. also some info on canvases there, I'm gonna have to come back to that

How to delete single image brush from image brush sequence?

I know SHIFT+i but that deletes all.

EDIT:
Found the answer, sorry

[i] to add new brush image and toggle on brush image edit. It opens a little rectangular selector. More on that one further down!
[Ctrl]+[Shift]+[i] toggles color mode, either using the original colors of the images, tinted by current color, or only use current color, ignoring image colors.

brush image edit ACTIVE:

[Shift]+[i] deletes only the previous image. [don't ask, I wasn't done, yet!]
[Ctrl]+[i] paste currently active brush image. [all just remains of my tests] :geek:
[j] toggles perspective transformation on/off, approximating the perspective of the image taken as suggested by your selector rectangle.

brush image edit OFF:

[Shift]+[i] to delete all images. [all still temporary] :?
[Ctrl]+[i] toggles paint modes. When ON it will use the color and material of the image. When OFF it will flatten the material. Using Average when OFF works like standard Average blending. When ON Average samples the color in the center of the brush and paints the complete image tinted by that color!

Hold down [CTRL] and hover over the image you want to delete, you will see it turning red, if there is more than one image up there. Just click on it then, still holding [CTRL] and it gets deleted.

Hi everybody! I tried verve and really like it. And I would love to use it to paint the backgrounds for a little game I'm planing to do. But for that I would need to export some layers with transparent background. Is that possible? If so - how?

Edit: Oh, please don't mind my post! I found out that png saves with transparent channel. :bounce: (rule - try first, then post  )

AHahaha, yeah, that's a good rule!
I've tried to document all major features in the INFO thread, hoping you'd find most solutions there. There's a whole thing on file I/O matters such as saving components, 16bit png and so forth...
But, yeah, one of these days I'll include a little manual with the zip. :)
WELCOME TO THE FORUM, of course!

Not the sexiest, but still most compact info about verve functionality.
On last post of this thread you can download the psd file to edit to your likeness.
