Hi Taron:

I have been having a bit of a struggle reading the mouse-overs of the UI. For learning purposes I created the attached PDF with labels. They basically duplicate your mouse-overs with some additional verbiage plus their default values in parenthesis. Also I attempted to make labels/mouse overs for the general categories. There are some questions I had, however. Would you mind proofing the labels and let me know what should be corrected, please?

This document was created Xara Web Designer (by Magix). The PDF was exported from it (including layers) and I also exported a simple Browser based version with easier to read mouse-overs. The VERVE UI in the background is a screen capture so it is very low res (would it be possible for you to send me a high res image of the UI which I can optimise?).

I realize you will be changing the UI, but that's not a big issue for me as this is just a "fun" project to keep me busy (I am recently retired). I was planning to experiment with different methods of linking to more detailed views of the UI and possible adding additional reference notes.

I think you should be able to post right away, unless something has changed in the last few days. There is a file size limit though, so you might be hitting that.

Also, I think from your description you are making something different, but are you familiar with this? viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1017&p=6214&hilit=hotkeys#p6214

Yes, a lot of things are changing and I'm planning on doing a more immediate help solution, even setting up language solutions, which will allow users/supporters to compose translations for everyone. At least that is what I'm planning.

I will have a look at Xara then. That does sound interesting.
Anyway, I'm thrilled about your support and am looking forward to seeing what you've put together. Naturally, I feel a little bad, because it's very likely that many things will be different, but then again... we shall see!

Why don't use some cool web creator system? No need special knowledge!
My favorite is Weebly (free version is sufficient for some crazzy things)

Thanks for the suggestion. I am using XaraWebDesigner which is totally graphical web production with no coding (been around for 4 years).
Here is an example. Unfortunately links and mouse-over hotspots are alway rectangle, not the shape of the objects but to their bounding box.
