Strange brush behavior

Hello, I have noticed a strange behavior of brushes when i paint fast long strokes. If i go slower it becomes less noticable (but is still there).
Can you please give me feedback is this behavior of brushes normal also on your machines? I was using default settings with brush nr 6 and nr 3 (it happens to me with all the brushes except 7,8 and 9)

I use windows 8.1 and intuos3 tablet.

Re: Strange brush behavior

Ehehe, except for Brush #7, #8 and #9, all other brushes stipple. That works quite nicely with the fluids on, but once it gets too dry, it'll show dramatically.
However, what's happening with your brush on the left is a little bit weird to me?! I can't quite tell if that's normal, but it certainly doesn't look that way.
If you would want to, you could set up that brush, save the settings file (.VRS) and attach it to a post so I can try it out. :geek:

Re: Strange brush behavior

I'm having the same issue. I posted over at: http://www.taron.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2210

All my brushes are acting strangely and they've never done that before. I'm going to delete and re-download verve... going to see if that helps.

Re: Strange brush behavior

Again, I doubt it would change a thing to re-download, hehe. Make sure you do not have other apps running that use openGL. That could slow it down and make those effects more prominent.
Although I've written about this plenty of times, except for the brushes 7 and up, all lower brushes stipple by nature. It works perfectly for fluids, but in dry environments it will look like stutters of sorts.
