Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

Just to warm up a little, here's a quick landscape.
In my private developer version I've added a few new blend modes, including darken/lighten, which behave quite amazingly with this style of paint. So easy to make quick landscapes with atmosphere, hehe. One can literally be careless or carefree that way.

Hehehe, yeah... this is getting so wicked. I really, really can't wait to really throw myself at this! I honestly believe this will have a serious impact on how we paint on the computer, let alone in the browser, haha. :hyper:

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

Windows 10 madness again...
Finally I decided to play around with pen pressure and it works. However, it ONLY works when you enable Windows Ink. BUT Windows Ink brings back those annoying Modifier Key Bubbles [SHIFT], [CTRL] and so on...
Further more, it hides the standard cursor while drawing!!! What in the world? I mean, what in the actually f... :tantrum:

So, yeah, Microsoft is quite an efficient saboteur when it comes to the joy of painting in a browser, pffff.

Anyway, the good news remain that pen pressure and the likes work. But currently I actual am happier without them, as this allows me to keep Windows Ink turned off, making it all faster, too, and without extra annoyances.

The upshot is, although there's no honorable reason for it, working in browsers beyond browsing is made really hard without it needing to be. If someone of you has an interesting solution from experience with Windows 10, Wacom and using it in browsers, I'd be thrilled to learn about it!

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

Uh, I did find out something different about Chrome, which is quite amazing on my machine. Turning off the VSync:
• make another shortcut to Chrome and change the Target command to:
"C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --disable-frame-rate-limit --disable-gpu-vsync

This will turn off the VSync and if your machine can handle it, Vervette will be much quicker! :hyper:

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

Amazingly, I don't even have firefox on my new machine. I remember there was an issue with Windows Ink, though. If you have it turned on for Firefox, it may act weird? Or it was the other way around. Well, you should test both!
