Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

Alright, that means I have to post a doodle, too. I'm still goofing around with blending, trying to get a feel. This is almost exclusively painted with one setting, just using keys to clean the brush, turn on/off auto clean and fill the brush with a picked color as well as picking colors. I did change the noise size a few times, but that's still fair, I think. :D

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

Had to play some more with the canvas texture, which now appears to become very naturally looking.
Also, I'm testing painting in more traditional computer sizes, zooming in and using an ordinary digital brush without bristles for some accurate blending at lower resolutions. It works really beautifully.
Constantly being at 2.5k resolution can make one forget that pixels have far more power than it can seem.

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

You mean, in the Vervette release? Wehehehelllllllllll.... there you will be able to do virtually anything, especially to the canvas. Even now I already have assembled a variety of procedural textures to choose from and am thinking about adding my "custom shader" option for it, too. But most certainly you'll be able to turn it off, too, naturally! :ugeek: :D
I'm kind of thinking about various ways to "prime or double prime" the canvas, too. That might be pretty nice. All stuff I'm planning to explore in detail. c:!

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

Cool vortex Pilou,
Taron, cool texture, and it can be very tweakable I see
I guess my only wish in the list is the detachable GUIs, so they can be placed in a secondary window, and a window that can duplicate the artwork, like in PS and AR, is fundamental for digital painters I guess, usually is placed in a secondary window.
Congrats.
