Cool!

Well, for studying lighting you have started out with the right idea, but then totally ignored it at the same time, hehehehe. You've created a room, which is brilliant for exploring reflective surfaces as well as bounce light, but your robot guy neither reflects its environment nor appears to be lit by any of the suggested light sources. You have to be far more ruthless with these things... hmmm... I did just such a study a while ago with Vervette. Dang it, hmmm, do I still have this? Hmmm, maybe I'll make one for you then.

But it's a very cool start!

Point is, you can train your mind to become more aware of your imaginary volumes, surfaces, angles, spaces. It's a brilliant exercise. It may take some time to really develop your intuition for it, but you will! It just happens at some point. In the beginning some things may feel counterintuitive or strange, like you don't trust your judgement. But piece by piece you begin to understand and your judgement improves as well as your faith in it.
