avast! deletes the newest version

The version I had before the latest (that was uploaded 38 hours ago?) is automatically killed by avast!
For whatever reason, this wasn't a problem with the barely older version.

Re: avast! deletes the newest version

I've now used dropbox to host a rar archive of Verve. Has that happened to that, too?
(I'm really, really starting to hate all those stupid virus killers, pfff.)

Re: avast! deletes the newest version

Wonder how long it will be until the Virus Killers all get enough "false positive" reports to finally trust my releases!
I was doing a little demo the other day and right in the middle of using Verve Avast on that laptop kicked in and stalled.... yay. Such a bullcrap. I'd just take it off, really, but it's easy for me to say, because I haven't used anything besides the windows defender for over 10 years now. And I'm happy! And my machine is healthy, too.

Re: avast! deletes the newest version

Have you try to compile your code by another user of BlitzMax ?
Same result ?

Re: avast! deletes the newest version

It can't have a different result, that's not where the problem is at. There's a minute chance that the editor I'm using (BLide) may contribute to the problem, I'm not sure, but I don't think so.

Re: avast! deletes the newest version

Seems your last 0.99s don't have the Avast problem! 8-)
Some users tell me that and myself has no more this detection problem! ;)

"Seems your last 0.99s don't have the Avast problem!"

Sadly not true for me. Avast won't even let me download it. 99p is the last version I have been able to use.
