Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

It's the reuse of the Day 065 (scroll down)

Itself the refraction of the painting of the Day 061 + maybe some colors

And then apply on the volume! Same texture is applyed on the ground but with some regulates on the render... :geek:

I have found my process...so day after day that is my quest! 8-) (in 15 minutes all done i can't make more! :!:

So no real photo here! Only painting! c:! It's infinite possible reuse of created images done with your crazzy prog!

Of course i can use real photos but what would be the interest? The game will be less funny!
All make itself from zero is very more satisfying! c:!

PS And on this last one above you can see the "white frame" of the Day 065 on the volume! Normally i use image without frame...but it's funy result too! :hihi:

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

Yeah, that's cool Pilou! Very nice. :ob

Taron>> Thank you for details about your development aims! Yes, to imitate real colors, pigments, natural behaviour is a big task! But I am sure, you can find a good solution. You are able to think out of the box, that is important for such tasks.
BTW I very like the background texture that is similar to a real paper. :ob

Tehehe, that's so neat! Looks like some sort of reinvented classic space station design. Looks kind of expensive! 8-)

Happy Easter! :bounce:

Well, it's not quite there, yet, but it's getting there... still working out blending/mixing matters.
Anyway, fitting for Easter, here's an egg-head... :hihi:

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

Alright, I had to doodle a little with the Sandbox again, because it's just too nice to play with.
I'm rethinking what I'm doing and will most certainly put the sandbox into the new approach closely to how it is now, because it's too awesome, but I will make the tools nicer, of course. It's just the basic principle that is so powerful, I can't ignore it.

Oli, my wife, calls this one "Salmona Jackson". :hihi:

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

I rarely come into the Community part of the forum. Impulse brought me in and all I can say is wow. It's going to take me forever. These last 2 pages have been outstanding Taron and Pilou! I don't have time right now but I will be starting at the beginning and work my way through. Looking forward to it. Now I have to get back to digging up stumps lol :( :? :D

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

Oh, you're in for a treat, Tom! There are countless cool posts here. It's massive! Even Ed left some great sketches here, which show that there is a world without pen pressure one shouldn't underestimate, hahahaha! :hihi:
But, yeah, this is ultimately Pilou's thread, really. I'm so thrilled about his growing legacy here. Pud left some wicked explorations, too, and well... tons of my doodles, too. :D
I totally love this thread! :hyper:
