Re: With verve into the light

Not sure how else to contact you, but I was wondering if I can use an image you made for a project? Mostly started out as a small time free project that has kinda become something bigger, so
I figured I would ask you before going forward.

That is the picture in context for a VR internet browser. JanusVR http://www.janusvr.com

I'm not a dev for the program, but some of the things I've made have been incorporated into it, which happened to include that image. I can add a credits plaque to the room.

Re: With verve into the light

90% painting 10% 3D modelling in verve and some colour correction in photoshop turned an old eye study into something I can show...(saw avatar again recently)

Re: With verve into the light

Beautiful eye study Knacki and brilliant combination of 2 and 3d. I prefer 3d that doesn't look 3d and that fits the bill c:! . I haven't seen Avatar yet but have it in blu ray. Go figure lol. I think I will watch it before I dive into a Hobbit marathon :D

Re: With verve into the light

Dear ververists, :)

Thanks a lot for your kind words.
To be honest, the basis procedure to draw the iris could have been done by GBoGBo's Robot.
Just Brush #1 for the big ring, a little bit smaller and erase a tiny bit, again smaller to erase the whole in the middle. Maybe also two steps here to get the edge where light will be reflect. Than Brush#9 with size pressure for the muscles and you are almost done. The white eyeball could be done in 3d for the beginning too.
Play with it, it is fun!
Oh Light Soul. I wish there would be time. But Be sure. I'll never be able to match this beautiful picture your mind already created out of the tiny piece I gave you. Imagination always win. ;)

Avatar is a cineastic milestone. You don't have to love it, but you'll be facinated.

Re: With verve into the light

WOW Knacki, totally gorgeous result! Fascinating combination of colours, curves, bubbles and of course the eye! I realy like your versatile artwork.

BTW I agree what you said about the Avatar. It is a cinematic milestone. I have seen it two times in a cinema and have got the blueray version :). The graphic result is amazing.
