Questions about some features?

First off, great program although I'm a little limited right now. In the video "VerveDemo01" Taron used his 4 brush to make foliage on the foreground. His brush looked biased from both sides at clean cut angle but when I bias mine it does so in waning moon. And also his brush kind was "randomized" which he said in the video but I don't see an option for that. I would randomize it myself but whe never I try to use a biased brush, for some reason it keeps spinning and just turns it into a hollow circle. I'm using windows 8 and no draw pad if that matters. I can provide anymore info if necessary. Thanks in advance. :)

Ah yes, if you use the mouse, it will by default try to follow your mouse direction. Hit [a] to lock the rotation of the brush! Control the rotation using [Shift]+[a]!
Also, brush#4 is a squished brush that responds to the pen tilt. If you only have mouse, it will not get that tilt. Bias for those brushes always offsets circular and on #4 and #5 you normally wouldn't need or even want that, I think.
BUT in the next version some things will be different and easier to set up, so don't worry too much about what's going on now. But a lot will still be the same, so... you won't waste any time, trying to get a good grip on the version you have right now. It's all good! ;)

Thanks, Worros, and welcome to the forum!

So what would you say is the best brush to make flowers and stuff like you did in "VerveDemo01" ?

For foliage like flowers I'd still use brush#2 actually. However, the new version will stand all this on its head... :? ...because the world of bristles opens up a great, great deal then!
Not to mention that you create all your custom brushes then based on one principle. :ugeek: :D

Hey dear Taron, I have now a new GPU and I can handle now also even 18 or more layers, but how can I scroll down/up in the layer-window? If I have more like 18 layers it will be hidden in the toolbar and I can not select new layers on the top ... - ok, with F11/F10 we can select next layers ... but I can not see in the layers panel, which layer I have selected now

 ...hahaha...yeah... :? ...uhm...next version will have proper GUI containers for layers, (brush) images and color swats, actually. For now you kinda don't wonna work with too many layers...ehe...it's possible and fully operational, but- well- you can't see them.

Debating how soon I'll give it out, but if it's soon it'll be v0.99v. If I go the extra mile it may actually become v0.99z or EVEN v1.0. Not sure. But I don't think it'll be 1.0, just yet.
