Possibly a stupid question, but does this look right?

When I draw, instead of a continuous stream of paint, it looks like this. I am a complete newbie, so I am not sure if it is meant to look like that or not, but it doesn't "feel right". Possibly an issue with my tablet (Wacom Intuos Pro S) or perhaps something else interfering with it? I've tried using the mouse too though, and I get the same sort of effect. Perhaps just a setting that I don't understand? Who knows!?

Hey prolix, this is brush #2, which does that, but the amount of fluids you have on should actually make those stipples disappear?! So, yeah, something is funky there, I'm pretty sure.
Try brush #9 and see what happens, because that one along with 8 and 7 should be continuous instead.
However, please, always add your graphics card and possibly some specs of it so I can tell you a bit more of what might be happening! :geek:

Anyway, welcome to the forum! :) ...I'm sure it'll become clear quickly.

Hey - brush 9 looks continuous, but when I hold shift I can see stippling again...

Eh, that's not stippling, but the trouble with inertia per buffer flip. What you should try is to fill the background with your background color using [Shift]+[Alt]+[f]. Turn the fluids up a little and then try again!
What is it that you're trying to do anyway, if I may ask? :)
Maybe I can give you some more specific advice... :ugeek:

I'll give that a go.

I am not really trying to do anything in particular, other than make sure my PC is running your fine little program as it should be! As I am such a newbie when it comes to these matters, it is hard to know if what I am experiencing is what is intended or not :P

Thanks for taking the time to answer my queries :)
