Exporting

Hey all! New, been a lurker for a while.
Joined because I've got a technical problem I just can't seem to work out.
When exporting to PNG (with s), opening the file in an image viewer shows the image is entirely black.
When exporting to PNG (with ctrl + s), the image seems to have only some of the information. (As is to be expected when exporting only the active layer.)
When exporting to PNG (with shift + s), results are the same as when not using shift.
Also .vrv files do not appear to be functional.

Have looked around on the forum and FAQ for this problem.
Able to provide system specs and screenshots if this is not a straightforward/common issue. Which I suspect it is not given all of the gorgeous art that is uploaded here.
But I could just be missing something.
Please help.

Always start with your specs, Azazel! :geek:
A screenshot would be good, too. Sounds like a GL problem to me. If anything is weird, you should first update your system, which may include OS, but most certainly graphics drivers. The first release of windows 8, for example, was a total mess and needed to be updated to 8.1. After that you'd have to update graphics drivers.
VRV are verve projects, which you can only open in Verve!
If the pngs don't have content then you must have a GL problem, really.
